    Conoco Circulation Oil is a high-quality, rust-inhibited mineral oil specially developed for the lubrication of conveyor and crusher bearings in copper crushing mills.

    Circulating Oil is available in one viscosity grade: ISO 150. It is formulated with high-quality paraffinic base oils and select additives to provide protection against rust and corrosion and resistance to foaming. It has excellent water-separating properties to minimize the formation of emulsions in circulating systems subject to contamination with large quantities of water, minerals, dirt and scale.

    Conoco FC Fluid-D is a water-glycol based fire-resistant hydraulic fluid developed for use in hydraulic systems operating at 2000 to 3000 psi in areas subject to fire hazards. It can withstand intermittent pressure spikes up to 5000 psi. It contains sufficient water to snuff out a fire resulting from ignition of a fluid leak.

    FC Fluid-D is formulated with 60% diethylene glycol and 40% water. It is fortified with additives that provide lubricity, wear protection and corrosion protection for extended life of hydraulic system components. It contains less than 60 parts per billion (ppb) phenols, and does not contain any nitrites or nitrosamines.

    FC Fluid-D has good antiwear properties to ensure long life for hydraulic pumps and motors. Special rust and corrosion inhibitors provide corrosion protection in both the liquid phase and the vapor phase. This product is compatible with other water-glycol type fire-resistant fluids.

    FC Fluid-D is compatible with most hydraulic pump types, including vane, piston and gear pumps. It is safe to use with most packing and seal materials except polyurethane and silicone. Cork shaft seals should be replaced with Buna N or another synthetic rubber. Leather packing should be avoided and zinc or cadmium-plated components should not be used.

    Caution: FC Fluid-D should not be used in systems where operating temperatures exceed 175 ºF (79 ºC). This product contains water and should not be stored at temperatures over 130 ºF (54 ºC). In addition, this product is not recommended for use as a conventional antifreeze coolant for automotive or industrial applications.

    Conoco FR Hydraulic Fluid is an invert-emulsion (water-in-oil) type fire-resistant hydraulic fluid developed for use in hydraulic systems operating at 2000 to 3000 psi in areas subject to fire hazards. It combines the benefits of an oil-based hydraulic fluid with the fire-resistant properties of water. It is approved by the MSHA for use in underground mining equipment.

    FR Hydraulic Fluid is formulated with high-quality paraffinic base oils, 40% water and a special emulsifier than produces a stable, homogeneous invert emulsion. It is fortified with antiwear additives, rust and corrosion inhibitors, and a biocide. The outer oil film lubricates and protects hydraulic system components against rust, corrosion and wear. The inner water core provides fire resistance in case of ignition of a fluid leak. The biocide helps prevent bacterial growth in system reservoirs.

    FR Hydraulic Fluid is compatible with most hydraulic pump types, including vane, piston and gear pumps. It is safe to use with packing and seal materials commonly used in conventional oil systems. Avoid cork shaft seals and butyl seals and packing. Proper hydraulic system preparation is necessary when changing over from a conventional petroleum oil or water-glycol fluid.

    Caution: FR Hydraulic Fluid should not be used in systems where operating temperatures exceed 175°F (79°C). This product contains water and should not be stored at temperatures over 130°F (54°C). Water content must be maintained at a minimum of 40% (by volume) to ensure adequate fire resistance.

    Hydroclear Diamond Class AW Turbine Oil is available in two viscosity grades: ISO 32 and 46. It has outstanding oxidation resistance and thermal stability at high temperatures to minimize sludge and varnish formation, and provide long service life. It protects system components against rust, corrosion and wear. It has excellent water-separating properties to minimize the formation of emulsions and is resistant to excessive foam buildup that can interfere with proper lubrication.

    Hydroclear Diamond Class AW Turbine Oil is filtered to an ISO Cleanliness Code of 18/16/13 for use in circulating systems with tight tolerances where particle contamination can cause operational problems.

    Conoco Hydroclear Diamond Class Heat Transfer Fluids are premium quality fluids specifically developed for use in liquid-phase heat transfer systems. They are available in two different formulations, "O/S" for use in open systems, and "C/S" for use in closed systems.

    Hydroclear Diamond Class Heat Transfer Fluids O/S and C/S each are available in two viscosity grades: ISO 32 and 46. They are formulated with high-quality, hydrocracked paraffinic base oils and advanced additive chemistry to provide outstanding thermal stability and low sludge-forming tendency for long service life and outstanding overall performance.

    Hydroclear Diamond Class Heat Transfer Fluids O/S 32 and O/S 46 are optimized for use in pressure-relieved, liquid-phase heat transfer systems equipped with expansion tanks, where there is a possibility of contact between the heat transfer fluid and air in the expansion tank. The additive system is fortified with oxidation and corrosion inhibitors to prevent fluid degradation and deposits from building up in the system. The O/S fluids are recommended for use in systems operating with continuous maximum bulk oil temperatures up to 550ºF (290ºC), and with intermittent maximum temperatures as high as 650ºF (343ºC).

    Hydroclear Diamond Class Heat Transfer Fluids C/S 32 and C/S 46 are optimized for use in pressure-relieved and expansion tank-equipped, liquid-phase heat transfer systems that are closed to the atmosphere and potential air contamination. The system must be nitrogen-purged, with no possibility of contact between the heat transfer fluid and air during operation. These fluids are fortified with special additives to prevent thermal degradation. The C/S fluids are recommended for use in systems operating with continuous maximum bulk oil temperatures up to 620ºF (327ºC), and intermittent maximum temperatures as high as 650ºF (343ºC).

    Conoco Hydroclear Quench Oils are high-quality oils developed for heat treatment of ferrous metals in a wide variety of quenching operations. They are formulated to provide deep and uniform hardening with minimum distortion and cracking for a smooth surface finish.

    Hydroclear Quench Oils are available in four grades: 22, 22MS, 22HS and 32HS. The 22 grade is a highly refined, straight (non-additized) paraffinic mineral oil recommended for conventional quenching of ferrous metals at bath temperatures up to 150 ºF (66 ºC). It has a slower quench speed than the other grades, and provides minimum hardening power. The other three grades are fortified with select additives to provide enhanced oxidation resistance and metal-wetting ability for use in fast quench operations where it is important to develop maximum hardness while minimizing distortion. The 22MS grade is a medium-speed quench oil with moderate hardening power. The 22HS grade is a high-speed quench oil with moderate-to-high hardening power. The 32HS grade is a higher viscosity, high-speed quench oil that provides the highest hardening power.

    Hydroclear Quench Oils provide a high initial cooling rate to induce maximum hardness. After the critical transformation temperature is passed, the cooling rate gradually decreases to a much slower rate to minimize the possibility of stress and metal distortion, thereby ensuring a smooth surface finish. These oils are highly stable throughout the hardening temperature range to provide long service life with minimal sludge formation. They have a high viscosity index for minimum viscosity change during the entire quenching operation, and have high flash and fire points to minimize fire hazards.

    Caution: Hydroclear Quench Oils must not be mixed with competitive quench oils, unless tested for compatibility. They are not recommended for marquenching or martempering operations, where oil temperatures can reach 150 ºC to 232 ºC (302 ºF to 450 ºF).

    Note: Agitation, filtration and periodic product sweetening are essential to successful quenching operations. The quench tanks must be periodically cleaned and the quench oil filtered to remove scale, metal shavings and contaminants. A 50-micron double-bag filter is recommended for proper maintenance. The quench oil must be continuously agitated to provide uniform surface microstructure. Condition monitoring by oil analysis is essential in maintaining optimum performance and the desired quenching qualities of these oils.

    Conoco Hydroclear TCS Slideway Lubricant is a demulsible, compounded oil developed for use on lathes and heavily loaded machine tool slideways. It is specially formulated to prevent stick-slip problems to ensure good surface finish on the machined part, and to provide quick and effective separation from water and metalworking fluids. It passes the Cincinnati Lamb Functional (Stick-Slip) Test for way oils.

    Hydroclear TCS Slideway Lubricant is available in three viscosity grades: ISO 32, 68 and 220. It is formulated with high-quality, hydrocracked paraffinic base oils and a special extreme-pressure friction modifier that allows machine tool carriages to start easily and move smoothly throughout their travel, thus preventing stick-slip problems. This reduces carriage chatter and ensures a smooth finish on the machined part. Mild extreme-pressure properties prevent scoring of the slideways during carriage travel. A tackiness additive improves adhesion and prevents the oil from being squeezed off the slideways. It also helps prevent the oil from being washed away by cutting fluids. Additional additives provide protection against rust and corrosion and allow optimum coolant separation.

    Conoco Hydroclear Ultra-Clean Multipurpose R&O Oil is a premium quality, ashless, rust and oxidation (R&O)-inhibited mineral oil developed for the lubrication of industrial equipment requiring an ultra-clean, general-purpose circulating oil.     Hydroclear Ultra-Clean Multipurpose R&O Oil, ISO VG 46, is approved by Alstom under their HTGD 90117 specification for bearing lubrication in their geared turbines.

    Industrial Oil is available in nine grades for use in a wide range of applications. It is highly refined from select paraffinic stocks to be uniform in quality and chemical composition and have carefully controlled physical and chemical properties. It provides excellent wear protection for hydraulic pumps and motors, has excellent oxidation resistance and thermal stability at high temperatures to minimize deposit formation and provide long service life, and protects hydraulic system components against rust and corrosion. It has excellent water-separating properties to minimize the formation of emulsions, and is resistant to excessive foam buildup that can cause poor or sluggish hydraulic system response.

    Megaflow AW Ultra-Clean Hydraulic Oil meets the performance requirements of leading hydraulic pump manufacturers, including Bosch Rexroth, Cincinnati Lamb, Oilgear, Parker Hannifin HPD (formerly Denison Hydraulics), Racine, Sundstrand, Vickers (Eaton) and Voith.

    Quintolubric® 822-450 is a premium quality, readily biodegrable, synthetic fire-resistant hydraulic fluid developed for use in hydraulic systems operating in areas subject to fire hazards, such as in underground mining operations, steel mills and foundries. It is approved by MSHA for use in underground mining equipment.

    Quintolubric® 822-450 is available in one viscosity grade: ISO 100. It is formulated with synthetic polyol esters and select ashless additives to provide outstanding fire resistance and excellent lubrication and wear protection for hydraulic pumps and motors. It has outstanding oxidation resistance and thermal stability at high temperatures, plus excellent detergency, to protect against sludge and varnish formation, and also protects hydraulic system components against rust and corrosion.

    Quintolubric® 822-450 does not contain water, mineral oil or phosphate ester. It replaces water-glycol and invert-emulsion type hydraulic fluids without compromising overall hydraulic system integrity. It is readily biodegradable as determined by the CEC-L33-A97 test method.

    Note: Quintolubric® 822-450 should not be mixed with conventional antiwear hydraulic oils, invert emulsions, phosphate esters or water-glycol fluids. It is a stand-alone product and cannot be used as top-up for existing hydraulic systems with different fluid types.

    Conoco Rock Drill Oil is an adhesive, extreme-pressure lubricant specially developed for the lubrication of air-powered tools such as rock drills, jackhammers, pavement breakers and drifters. It also may be used for the lubrication of machine tool slideways.

    Rock Drill Oil is available in seven viscosity grades, ISO 32 through ISO 320, to cover a wide range of applications and operating temperatures. It is formulated with high-quality paraffinic base oils and select additives tailored to provide maximum protection for pneumatic percussion tools. It has high load-carrying capacity to protect against wear and seizure of sliding metal surfaces under heavy or shock-load conditions. It has good adhesiveness to metal surfaces in the presence of moisture, and contains inhibitors to protect against rust and corrosion. It has good oxidation resistance and thermal stability at high temperatures for long service life.

    Conoco Rolling Oil is a high-quality, multipurpose rolling oil developed for rolling non-ferrous metals, such as aluminum, brass, copper and copper alloys. It also is recommended for use as a bearing lubricant, hydraulic oil and roll-coating oil in many mill applications.

It has excellent water-separating properties to minimize the formation of emulsions. It is nonstaining to aluminum and yellow metals.

    Conoco Spindle Oil is a high-quality spindle oil developed for the lubrication of high-speed needle and spindle bearings found in industrial, agricultural and textile equipment.

    Spindle Oil is available in one viscosity grade: ISO 15. It is formulated with high-quality paraffinic base oils, an oiliness agent and a foam inhibitor. It has excellent oxidation resistance and thermal stability at high temperatures to minimize deposits and provide long service life. It protects against rust and corrosion and provides good wear protection for long spindle life. It has excellent water-separating properties to minimize the formation of emulsions, and is resistant to excessive foam buildup. It is nonstaining for use in textile equipment.

It provides excellent wear protection for hydraulic pumps and motors, has outstanding oxidation resistance and thermal stability to help minimize deposit formation and provide long service life, and protects against rust and corrosion. It also has excellent demulsibility in the presence of water and good foam resistance.

    Syncon AW Hydraulic Fluid exceeds the performance requirements of the leading hydraulic pump manufacturers, including Bosch Rexroth, Cincinnati Lamb, Oilgear, Parker Hannifin HPD (formerly Denison Hydraulics), Racine, Sundstrand, Vickers (Eaton) and Voith. It has a high dielectric strength for use as insulating oil in cherry pickers and electrical service repair trucks.
    Note: In order to maintain its high dielectric strength, the oil must be kept clean and dry. Contamination with even a small amount of water will decrease the dielectric strength.

    Syncon FG Hydraulic Oil meets FDA requirements and former 1998 USDA H1 guidelines for incidental food contact, and is registered by NSF International as an H1 lubricant. It also meets the performance requirements of the leading hydraulic pump manufacturers, including Parker Hannifin HPD (formerly Denison Hydraulics) and Vickers (Eaton).

    Syncon R&O Oil is a multipurpose synthetic circulating oil developed for use in a wide variety of industrial applications. It is available in nine viscosity grades: ISO 32, 46, 68, 100, 150, 220, 320, 460 and 680. The lighter viscosity grades (ISO 32, 46, 68 and 100) are recommended for use in rotary air compressors, circulating pumps, vacuum pumps and electric motor bearings operating under severe-service conditions. The heavier viscosity grades (ISO 150, 220, 320, 460 and 680) are recommended for use in gearboxes that do not require an extreme-pressure gear oil.

    Syncon R&O Oil is formulated with synthetic polyalphaolefin (RAO) base oils and selected additives that provide enhanced oxidation resistance, antiwear properties, protection against rust and corrosion, and resistance to foaming. It has outstanding oxidation resistance and thermal stability at high temperatures to help minimize deposit formation and provide long service life. It also has excellent low-temperature properties for use over a wide temperature range.

    Syncon R&O Oil is particularly recommended for use in circulating systems and moderately loaded enclosed industrial gearboxes where operating conditions may be unfavorable or too severe for conventional mineral oil-based circulating oils. It is compatible with mineral oil-based lubricants, but mixing should be avoided for optimum performance.

    Syncon Refrigeration Oil is a premium quality synthetic lubricant developed for use in rotary screw compressors in refrigeration service compressing ammonia, methyl chloride or carbon dioxide.

    Syncon Refrigeration Oil is available in one viscosity grade: ISO 68. It is formulated with synthetic polyalphaolefin (PAO) base oils and a carefully balanced additive package to provide long service life, excellent deposit control, protection against rust and corrosion, and resistance to foaming. It has outstanding oxidation resistance and thermal stability at high temperatures to help minimize deposit formation and provide extended service intervals compared to conventional mineral oil-based lubricants, which can result in less maintenance and significant cost savings.

    Syncon Refrigeration Oil has a very low pour point and outstanding thermal stability for use in ammonia refrigeration systems, where evaporator temperatures often reach -30ºF (-34ºC) and discharge temperatures can reach as high as 250ºF (121ºC). It has better oxidation resistance than conventional paraffinic and naphthenic-based refrigeration compressor oils, resulting in less buildup of varnish and sludge deposits. It also has lower volatility, resulting in lower oil consumption and hence the need for less makeup oil.

    Syncon Refrigeration Oil is not recommended for use with chlorinated hydrocarbons (CFCs), such as Freon R12, R22 or R502, or with fluorinated hydrocarbons, such as HFC-134A.

    Syncon Turbine Oil is a premium quality synthetic lubricant developed for use in land-based gas turbines operating over a wide range of temperatures, where the manufacturer calls for a synthetic hydrocarbon or PAO-based turbine oil.

    Syncon Turbine Oil is available in one viscosity grade: ISO 32.     Syndustrial Gas Compressor Oil is formulated to minimize the effects of gas dilution and oil absorption typically encountered in natural gas service. The use of synthetic ester base fluid helps reduce the solubility of hydrocarbon gases in the oil. In combination with high starting viscosity, this minimizes viscosity loss due to gas dilution, which can cause cylinder scoring and high wear rates. Similarly, there is less absorption of oil into the gas stream, which helps reduce oil consumption and lubricant carryover, and helps prevent loss of the protective oil film from the cylinder walls.

    Syndustrial PAG Compressor Oil is highly resistant to hydrocarbon gas dilution and absorption into the gas stream. Solubility of gas in the oil causes reduced lubricant viscosity, which can result in cylinder scoring and high wear rates. Absorption of the oil into the gas stream causes high oil consumption and carryover into the process gas, and can cause depletion of the protective oil film on the cylinder walls. Resistance to gas dilution and oil absorption helps maintain proper viscosity and oil film thickness to protect against wear.
